Hello, I’m Shayane Dalencourt-Simon, a Washington, D.C.-based photographer and cinematographer working with political institutions, embassies, nonprofits, campaigns, and corporate clients.

My work includes event coverage, cinematic documentary storytelling, and traditional portraiture for organizations operating in public-facing and policy-driven spaces. I work across 35mm film and digital formats, bringing a documentary eye and an understanding of protocol, discretion, and messaging in high-visibility environments. I began my photography practice while living in Montpellier, France, and held my first exhibition in October 2022 at the U.S. Senate.

I have also worked with Amnesty International USA as the Haiti Advocacy Fellow and in the Office of Senator Edward J. Markey, experience that informs how I work seamlessly within institutional and political settings.

I am currently booking political and diplomatic events, nonprofit and campaign coverage, corporate headshots, portraits, and cinematography projects. Services are available by direct booking.
